American Shore and

The ASBPA was founded in 1926
by individuals who recognized the need for an organized effort to
combat erosion, a serious problem in many coastal areas, including
the Great Lakes. In 2003 the ASBPA merged with the American Coastal
Coalition.

Georgian Bay

With the Niagara Escarpment
designation as a biosphere reserve in 1990 and the 30,000 Islands'
designation as a littoral biosphere reserve in 2004, Georgian Bay
has achieved a unique status. While respecting this ecological

Bay region and its many attributes.
