ONTARIO ENVIRONMENT MINISTER TO SPEAK TO STUDENTS AT MCMASTER UNIVERSITY
ABOUT CLEAN WATER INITIATIVES
HAMILTON, ON, March 15, 2006 . . . Clean drinking water, Great Lakes
protection and the Government of Ontario's new policies and programs will be
featured in an address by Laurel Broten, Minister of the Environment for
Ontario, at McMaster University. The event is being sponsored by the
Dofasco Centre for Engineering and Public Policy, and coincides with the
United Nations' annual World Water Day, which was celebrated on March 22.

The recently established Dofasco Centre for Engineering and Public Policy at
McMaster University provides study at the graduate level to enhance students'
understanding of the interface between engineering and public policy, and
how public policy affects technological, social, economic and ecological
