The following message was released by NOAA Headquarters this morning
and may be of interest: A directed invasive species research and outreach grants competition run jointly by the NOAA Aquatic Invasive Species Program and National Sea Grant College Program was published in the Federal Register on Monday, March 27, 2006 (71 FR 15171). It can be found on http://grants.gov by searching for Funding Opportunity Number OAR-SG-2006-2000586. PLEASE NOTE! The Federal Register Notice and the Funding Opportunity announcement say that the application due date is April 13, 2006. This was posted in error, and a correction notice changing the due date to April 24, 2006 is anticipated to be published in the Federal Register on or around next Monday (April 3). (However, the Federal Register correction, not this email, is what sets the official due date.) Thank you, Dorn Carlson Manager, NOAA Aquatic Invasive Species Program
