Winter's Toll on Summer Streams -- The salt used to make roads safe in
the winter apparently can linger in streams and groundwater long after

Disordered Eating -- A serious disruption in the Great Lakes appears to
be forcing a native fish onto a diet of junk food. (4/13/2006)

Saving the Chesapeake -- Efforts to help the ailing Chesapeake Bay
depend on the participation of farmers and homeowners as well as
