for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence (COSEE)
The newest of 10 national
Centers for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence [COSEE] is COSEE
Great Lakes, an eight-state partnership supported by NSF/ NOAA
through 2010. COSEE Great Lakes facilitates partnerships between
research scientists and educators, increases access to Great Lakes
science and educational resources, and promotes science literacy
through public access to lake and ocean information. COSEE programs
involve educators of grades 4-10, informal educators, students and
the public with the exciting sciences of the inland seas.

Ohio Tributary Loading
1974, the Heidelberg College Water Quality Laboratory has collected
more than 90,000 water samples as part of its Ohio Tributary
Monitoring Program. Designed to provide accurate and long-term
pollutant loading data for Ohio's major tributaries to Lake Erie and
the Ohio River, these data are now available online for public use.
