Title: Switzer Foundation Leadership Grants
From the Switzer Foundation:
THE ROBERT & PATRICIA SWITZER FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES THE FALL 2006 CYCLE OF ITS LEADERSHIP GRANT PROGRAM.
The Robert & Patricia Switzer Foundation's mission is to identify and nurture those individuals who have the ability and determination to make a significant impact, and supports initiatives that will have direct and measurable results to improve environmental quality. The purpose of the Leadership Grant Program is to help advance the professional careers of Switzer Fellowship Alumni and to give non-profit organizations, educational institutions and government agencies greater access to individuals with superior technical and scientific expertise. Grants are awarded to organizations actively addressing issues of environmental quality to implement programs designed collaboratively with Switzer Fellows. This could be a great way for your organizations to add staff capacity through access to proven environmental scientists, policy specialists, and other environmental professionals.
All dates and deadlines are available on the Switzer Foundation website (http://www.switzernetwork.org/leadership-overview.html), but please note concept letters for the Fall 2006 cycle are due September 1, 2006. For questions or further information, please contact Lissa Widoff, Executive Director (email@example.com) or Erin Lloyd, Program Coordinator (firstname.lastname@example.org), or by phone at (207) 338-5654.
