On Wednesday, September 13, the House Transportation & Infrastructure
Committee's Subcommittee on Water resources will hold an oversight hearing on
Great Lakes Regional Collaboration. The hearing starts at 2:00
p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, in 2167 Rayburn. Witnesses will include the
U.S. EPA, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Department of
the Interior, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources testifying on
behalf of the Council of Great Lakes Governors, the mayor of Racine, WI, and
the University of Michigan. Testimony will be available after the hearing
at http://www.house.gov/transportation/.
On
Thursday, September 14, the House Resource Committee's Subcommittee on Oceans
and Fisheries will hold an oversight hearing on the Great Lakes Fish &
Wildlife Restoration Act reauthorization (H.R. 4953 and S. 2430). The
hearing begins at 10:00 a.m. in 1324 Longworth Office Building. Witnesses will
include the U.S. Department of the Interior, the International
Assosication of Fish & Wildlife Agencies, the Michigan United Conservation
Clubs, and Ducks Unlimited. Testimony will be available after the
