The International Association for Great Lakes Research is soliciting session proposals for the 50th Annual Conference on Great Lakes Research, to be held May 28 - June 1, 2007, at Penn State in University Park, Penn.

The conference theme is 50 Years of the IAGLR Conference: Past, Present and Future.
The deadline for submitting a session topic is October 20, 2006.
Chairs of selected sessions will be notified and provided with instructions for organizing their sessions in October. The general Call for Papers will be issued in November.

To Propose a Session:
If you are interesting in organizing a session, please visit the session proposal form (http://iaglr.org/conference/sessionform.php ). You will be asked to provide the following information:

• proposed title of the session,
• a brief description of the session's focus (two or three sentences),
• an estimate of the expected size (number of contributors) of the session, and
• the names and contact information (address, telephone, fax, and e-mail address) of the individual(s) willing to be session chair(s).
