Fishery Research and Sea Lamprey Research programs of the Great Lakes Fishery Commission
Pre-proposal Deadline: Friday, December 15, 2006 for both research programs. Pre-proposals received after this deadline will not be considered. The complete program funding schedule is available at http://www.glfc.org/research.php
Funding: Pre-proposals for the 2008 funding cycle for the Fishery Research and Sea Lamprey Research programs of the Great Lakes Fishery Commission are now being solicited. New projects may not begin before January 1, 2008. Awards will be up to $100,000 per year. The total amount of funding available for new projects within the Fishery Research Program is estimated at $200,000, and the total amount of funding available for new projects within the Sea Lamprey Research Program is estimated at $500,000.
Fishery Research ProgramProjects should address one or more of the following: the priorities identified by the commission’s strategic vision, lake committees, the Great Lakes Fish Health Committee, and the Council of Lake Committees; and the Fishery Research Program's research themes (as follows):
· Restoration of Native Great Lakes Fishes · Ecosystem Health of Large Lakes · Council of Lake Committees Research · Fish Health Committee Research
Sea Lamprey Research ProgramProjects should address one or more of the following: the priorities identified by the commission’s strategic vision and the Sea Lamprey Research Program’s research themes (as follows):
