The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin
Water Resources Regional Body would like to announce that its
next meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. EST in
the 21st Floor Conference Room at 35 E. Wacker Drive, Chicago
Illinois. The meeting is
open to the public and will include an opportunity for public comments but
space is limited for on-site participation. Call-in capability will be
provided and it is anticipated that most participants, including Regional Body
members, will take part by telephone. A draft agenda including the

The Regional Body was established by the
Great Lakes Governors and Premiers when they signed the Great
Lakes—St. Lawrence River Basin Sustainable Water Resources Agreement
on December 13, 2005. The Agreement details how the States and Provinces
will work together to manage and protect the Great Lakes—St.
Lawrence River Basin and provides a framework for each State and Province to
enact laws protecting the Basin. Further information on the Agreement and
