Join us for a day of discussions with twenty distinguished SNRE Alumni, Luther Propst, Executive Director of the Sonoran Institute, Mark Shaffer, Environment Program Director, Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and Nolan Yamashiro, Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation.

Conservation Careers
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. -- Careers in Conservation (Dana Room 1040). Alumni representing a diverse range of nonprofit organizations and government agencies will discuss their careers and provide advice to current students. Question and answer session to follow.
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. -- Networking Lunch (Dana, Ford Commons). Network with alumni and local professionals over pizza.

“Healthy Landscapes, Livable Communities: Conservation Leadership and the Future of the American West”

The Sonoran Institute brings diverse groups together to accomplish shared conservation goals. Under Propst’s guidance, the Institute has been instrumental in establishing over two dozen place-based conservation organizations. With offices in Arizona, Colorado, Montana and northern Mexico, SI has been a leader in collaborative approaches aimed at on-the-ground conservation success.
