GLIN==> Michigan Harmful Algal Bloom Workshop

The NOAA Center of Excellence for Great Lakes and Human Health (CEGLHH) 
and Michigan Sea Grant will be hosting the Michigan Harmful Algal Bloom 
(HAB) Stakeholder Workshop, on May 8, 2007 at the Bay City Riverfront 
DoubleTree Hotel in Bay City, Michigan (www.doubletree.com). The purpose 
of this workshop is to bring together Michigan public health, water, and 
beach/ natural resource managers to discuss and assess the HAB issue in 
Michigan, particularly Saginaw Bay, Western Lake Erie, and Lake

The Michigan HAB Workshop is the third in a series of HAB Stakeholder 
workshops organized and hosted by CEGLHH and the Great Lakes Sea Grant 
Network in specific areas encountering harmful algal blooms.

***PLEASE NOTE: This is a workshop on Cyanobacteria, such as 
Microcystis, and Cyanobacterial Toxins. This is NOT a meeting on the 
Saginaw Bay muck issue!****
