Located at the foot of West Grand Traverse Bay, the GLWSI provides professional development for teachers, community education about freshwater, a college level watershed science class and internships for students. In addition, the GLWSI partners with a rich array of natural resource nonprofits, governmental units and the community to work on important freshwater issues.
