The International Joint Commission (IJC) is pleased to announce
that, with the outstanding assistance of the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency (USEPA), Great Lakes National Program Office, in Chicago, IL, the public
will be able to view and hear live broadcasts via the internet of three key
events of the 2007 "Sustainable Cities, Healthy Watersheds" Biennial
Meeting. The events are (all times Central):
June 6, Wednesday,
6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Key Note Address by Mr. Steward Brand;
June 7,
Thursday, 1:30 p.m. - 2:15 p.m., 2007 Biennial Award for Great Lakes
Science;
June 7, Thursday, 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Great Lakes Town
Hall.

All sessions on Thursday
are free and open to the public. Representatives from the Agreement Review
Committee (ARC) will be on hand Thursday morning to discuss the ongoing review
of the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement. The draft 2007 Review Report
documents the first major review of the Agreement in nearly twenty years.
Over 350 Canadians and Americans have been involved in the review thus far, and
we hope to maintain this high level of participation in the public comment
period.
