Great Lakes Maritime Research Information Clearinghouse

This site is the home of a comprehensive data repository and information clearinghouse for the maritime industry in the Great Lakes. The system is envisioned to facilitate the acquisition, storage, management, analysis and exchange of data between analysts and decision makers within the industry.

The 2007 Race to Mackinac

The Chicago Race to Mackinac is 333 statute miles (289.4 nautical miles), starting just off Navy Pier, to Mackinac Island. It is the longest annual freshwater sailing race in the world and the festivities started the morning of July 14th. Track the race.
