The 2007 Race to

The Chicago
Race to Mackinac is 333 statute miles (289.4 nautical miles),
starting just off Navy Pier, to Mackinac Island. It is the longest
annual freshwater sailing race in the world and the festivities
started the morning of July 14th. Track the race.

realistically apply the practices put forth in the "Code of Best
Practices for Ballast Water Management," and the effectiveness of
