GLIN==> New Report ob Ballast Water Exchange



A new Technical Report (NOAA Technical Memo) assessing ballast water exchange has been posted on the GLERL website:

"Current State of Understanding about the Effectiveness of Ballast Water Exchange (BWE) in Reducing Aquatic Nonindigenous Species
(ANS) Introductions to the Great Lakes Basin and Chesapeake Bay, USA: Synthesis and Analysis of Existing Information"


The report was compiled by Greg Ruiz (Smithsonian Environmental Research Center) and I, with input from numerous other scientists (see individual chapters). You can obtain the full report via the main GLERL page:
