Ohio Sea Grant and Stone Lab Featured in
First OSU Big Ten Network Program October 29, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE
RELEASE
Captured in a fast-paced television magazine format, the 30-minute
“iMix” (Interactive Mixed Media) show highlights Stone Laboratory,
OSU’s Island Campus on Lake Erie, along with the Buckeye Bullet, the OSU hydrogen
fuel cell powered vehicle; and ThePalestra.com, an internet news service geared
toward university students. The Stone Lab segment showcases current Stone Lab research, its
summer college courses, and students involved in the Research Experience for
Undergraduates (REU) Scholarship Program, a summer program that provides
full tuition to undergraduates as they complete a five-week, field-based research
