Special Session: Progress with Watershed Planning in the
Great Lakes
Basin
There are numerous agencies and organizations within the
Great Lakes
Basin that have undertaken
watershed based planning efforts. These include the Great Lakes AOCs and RAPs,
Ontario Conservation Authorities, various watershed councils, municipalities,
regional governments, and citizen groups. The session will examine the
challenges and opportunities encountered by these initiatives and highlight the
roles and functions of watershed based planning within the basin. To submit an
