NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING The Wisconsin Department of Administration's Wisconsin Coastal Management Program will hold an Open House at 6:00 p.m. on April 3, 2008 at the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College - Superior Conference Center, 600 North 21st Street, Superior. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information and gather public comments on the proposed Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR). A team of state agencies including the Department of Administration's Coastal Management Program, University of Wisconsin - Extension, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is proposing to recommend the State of Wisconsin nominate certain existing public lands along the St. Louis River for designation as a NERR. The meeting will provide an opportunity for interested persons to learn about the proposal, ask questions in an informal setting, and provide oral or written comments.
