The 27th Annual International Submerged Lands Management Conference

Overview: The Great Lakes Commission is hosting the 27th Annual International Submerged Lands Management Conference. The conference will highlight issues surrounding the administration of submerged lands and adjacent uplands. Conference sessions will focus on the opportunities, successes and challenges facing managers of submerged lands and resources. Attendees from the United States and Canada will be able to share their experiences and gain new perspective.
Audience: State and provincial managers, professionals and other specialists who deal with issues pertaining to the administration of submerged lands and adjacent uplands will benefit from this conference.
Call for Abstracts: Issues to be considered for abstracts include, but are not limited to: public trust/public access, energy facility siting, underwater preserves, submerged cultural resources, underwater habitat, water-dependent uses, waterfront development, hazards and many other topics.
Abstract Submission Deadline: July 1, 2008 (More details and an abstract submission form will be available from the conference website in the near future.)
