GLIN==> Great Lakes Shipping Annually Saves Users $3.6 Billion

Cargo movement on the Great Lakes annually saves its customers $3.6 billion.  That is the conclusion of a soon-to-be-released report from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  The industry is also a major source of jobs and the greenest form of transportation.

See attached news release and graphic for more details.  Also included is LCA’s full testimony before the House of Representatives’ Transportation & Infrastructure Committee last week in which we called for reinvesting in the Great Lakes navigation system.
