GLIN==> The Environment Report for 02.12.09

Today on The Environment Report...

The world's scientists are holding
their annual meeting in Chicago... and
this year, it's all about climate change.
Shawn Allee reports from the big event.
They're looking at issues such as whether
we'll lose animal species and whether
biofuels really cut carbon emissions.

And... we need jobs... we need to
do something about climate change...
and we need energy independence. Can we
tackle all those things at once? Some
people say the secret is to build
energy institutes to ask tough questions
and find answers that'll really work.
