GLIN==> Wisconsin coastal restoration projects - NOAA Coastal Habitat Restoration Grants (Stimulus funding)



This announcement contains additional information for Wisconsin agencies and organizations interested in NOAA Coastal and Marine Habitat Restoration funding, made available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (stimulus funding). Sponsors of Wisconsin projects that have an existing partnership with the Wisconsin Departement of Natural Resources, or project sponsors that are interested in partnering with DNR to bundle projects to meet the $500,000 minimum grant award, should contact Steve Galarneau at (920) 892-8756 ext. 3051 or (608) 266-1956 or stephen.galarneau@wisconsin.gov<mailto:stephen.galarneau@wisconsin.gov>.

Non-DNR agencies and organizations are NOT required to submit grant applications or proposals to DNR or any other state agency for review or approval, except for normal permitting and regulatory review.  Grant applications should be submitted directly to NOAA by the lead project sponsor.

Applications must be postmarked, provided to a delivery service, or received by www.grants.gov<http://www.grants.gov/> by 11:59 PM EDT on April 6, 2009.
