New low water level advisories, real-time current meters
Source: NOAA National Ocean Service, Center for Operational Oceanographic
Products and Services (4/25)
Low Water Advisories (http://glakesonline.nos.noaa.gov/) are now posted for
any Great Lakes water level station where the water level is below the Low
Water Datum for that station. Real-time current meter data
(http://glakesonline.nos.noaa.gov/moncurrent.html) are also now available
for the Cuyahoga and Maumee rivers, with a third being planned on the St
Clair River at the Blue Water Bridge. The current meter task is a
pilot project; expansion is dependent on available funding.
