Just wanted to update everyone that this year, thanks to several creative
members, Gary Miller and Cindy McComas, NPPR has added a new MVP2
category: Best Pollution Prevention Publication/Writing Awards. A
description of the new awards category follows. To access the application
on the website just click on the P2Week link and follow the prompts to the
P2 writing application link under Awards. Since so many NPPR folks are
prolific writers, we thought this would be an excellent opportunity to
showcase exemplary P2 documents.
Also I would like to pass on a big reminder, P2 week posters are here in
the office and are going quickly. If you want 2002 posters please e-mail
ctighe@p2.org. Check the website to see the poster and get information on
prices and delivery. Last year we sold out fairly quickly (the Create Your
Reality poster), so order now to ensure you have them for P2 Week.

· Focus attention on P2;
· Highlight P2’s human health, economic and environmental benefits;
and
· Increase the use of P2, particularly multi-media approaches to
source reduction.
Publications that can win awards include: Fact Sheets/Case Studies;
Articles in the popular press, including trade journals' Books or Reports.
Per-reviewed journal articles; and Editorials/opinions/letters to the
