8TH ERCP REMINDER!! 


As you are aware, the 8th European Roundtable on Cleaner Production will be 
held in Cork, Ireland on October 9th, 10th and 11th, 2002. It will be 
hosted by the Clean Technology Centre. 

Accommodation 
A number of rooms have been pre-booked at special rates in the Cork area 
for the 8th ERCP. However, please note: 
* Accommodation in the conference hotels (Rochestown Park Hotel and the 
Maryborough House Hotel) is nearly full. 
* Registrations requiring accommodation MUST be received not later than 
Friday 30 August 2002, after which date accommodation cannot be guaranteed. 
* It is recommended that booking be made on the appropriate 
registration forms available on the ERCP website and not directly with the 
hotels. 
* Cork is a popular tourist destination so rooms should be booked early.

The ERCP website <http://www.ctc-cork.ie/ercp> contains details of the 8th 
ERCP including: 
* The Registration Form and Guide for Registration for the 8th ERCP 
* The Preliminary Programme for the 8th ERCP. 
* Other information concerning Cork, special events etc 
* Please bear in mind that there are a limited number of flights into 
Cork each day so early reservation is advisable.

The European Roundtable on Cleaner Production (ERCP) is a non-profit 
organisation that provides a platform to stimulate, develop and disseminate 
new initiatives to foster implementation of CP concepts and approaches 
within local and regional sustainable development initiatives. The 8th ERCP 
is a continuation of the ERCP series, the first of which was held in Graz 
in 1994. Following this initiative, successive, annual Roundtables were 
held in Rotterdam, Kalundborg, Oslo, Lisbon, Budapest and Lund.
