Not sure I totally understand your question -- wouldn't p2 
technologies that focus on process efficiency improvement meet your 
definition (i.e., HVLP guns, energy / fuel efficient vehicles or 
appliances, computer-driven paint mixing systems), or green design 
innovations such as the Spork (a personal favorite), the combo spoon 
and fork.  There's a lot going on in plating and metal finishing in 
the area of alternative deposition processes.
