cost of compliance

Along similiar lines of a recent posting, i am looking for
information related to the cost of compliance to use Methylene
Chloride as a cleaner/stripper. Due to the new, low OSHA standard
for this material some industry folks have said the only way to meet
the exposure limit is by supplied air systems? Does anyone have any
information surrounding this issue? Does anyone know the approximate
cost of a PPE program using supplied air, (so must have fit tests,
yearly medical exams, re-certifications). Costs and other training
requirement information would be a great help. What are shops
actually replacing Methylene chloride with, I've a list of possible
replacements but would like to know what has been an acceptible
replacement? Thanks, sherry davis
