Re: Co2 blasters

I don't know much about this, but the idea raises a question in my
     mind:
Isn't CO2 blasting done with really cold CO2?
Would would cold CO2 meeting a hot engine crack the engine block?

Dear P2techers:
I am working with a client with huge equipment (engines) that needs
to be cleaned while its running. We want to explore a CO2 blasting
unit for this operation. Could those of you who have worked with
these systems send me vendor names and phone numbers so I can order
some information? We also want to explore CO2 production onsite for
use in system. Are there any vendors selling equipment to do this,
if so please send name and phone # for these too.
And lastly, does anyone know how companies are handling the noise
associated with operation of these blast systems?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance,
sherry davis,
