Planning Violations

In January 1997, Environmental Compliance Update (No. 1, Vol 97) reported that
a Massachusetts paint manufacturer was fined a $5,000 administrative penalty
for failing to prepare a Toxic Use Reduction Plan and submit a plan summary as
required by the Toxic Use Reduction Act. As part of the consent order with
MA DEP, Franklin Paint was also asked to produce an educational video for its
customers. Does anyone know of any other situations where companies were
fined or brought to court due to planning violations?

Thanks,
