POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Waste-Management Education and Research Consortium (WERC),  managed
by New Mexico State University, seeks a qualified individual to fill the
position of Contract Training Coordinator in the WERC Albuquerque
office.  Major objective is to establish and maintain a center for
pollution prevention information for business and other organizations;
will develop and maintain an industry-specific manual of pollution
prevention practices; will develop and provide pollution prevention
training; will interact with pollution prevention providers to support
training activities; will promote pollution prevention to communities,
businesses and state agencies through presentations and outreach
activities; will assist in developing center business plans, will
interact with state pollution prevention coordinator.  Salary:
commensurate with qualifications.  Contingent on  funding.  A Bachelor's
Degree in Natural Science, Engineering, Business, Economics or other
relevant field with five years of experience in the environmental field,
two of which must be in pollution prevention planning, training,
technical and implementation is required.  Submit letter if interest,
