Grinding Dust from a brake maufacturer
P2 Tech List Serve:
A brake manufacturer in North Georgia produces 28,000/lbs. of grinding
dust a week. The company is interested in providing it as a raw
material to another company. Because the grinding dust contains
aluminum oxide, calcium carbonate, phenol, formaldehyde, and ammonia,
the concrete and brick manufacturers are unable to use the material.
Also, for many of the large concrete companies in Georgia, the brake
manufacturer does not produce enough grinding dust to be worth their
time. Does anyone have any suggests for another use of the material?
You help will be greatly appreciated.
