1. ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER SENIOR (THREE POSITIONS AVAILABLE)

P4070 Lynchburg, P4071 Virginia Beach (Starting Salary Range
$35,539-$43,428)
P4072 Woodbridge (Starting Salary Range $38,851-$47,474)

Conducts on-site pollution prevention assessments and assists in the 
development and implementation of environmental management systems. Tracks 
progress of facilities through follow-up visits, surveys, and telephone 
contact. Writes case studies for technology transfer. Researches and
promotes 
innovative pollution prevention technologies and alternatives. Participates 
in targeted pollution prevention and environmental management systems 
outreach efforts, including regional and/or issue-oriented initiatives, 
workshops and presentations. Knowledge, skills and abilities in:
engineering, 
environmental science, and/or industrial processes; pollution prevention; 
environmental management systems; local, state, and federal administrative 
and regulatory functions; PC operations; database management; and oral and

P4075 Richmond VA (Starting Salary Range $35,539-$43,428)

Coordinates and implements pollution prevention and environmental management

activities. Develops outreach initiatives for the Clean Water, Clean Air and

Resource Conservation and Recovery Acts. Reviews regulatory proposals and 
guidance for pollution prevention and environmental management systems 

opportunities. Coordinates agency mentoring program. Knowledge, skills
and/or 
abilities in pollution prevention, environmental management systems, 
marketing and business principles; federal/state/local administrative and 
regulatory functions; PC operations, including database management, web page

development, graphics software and computer communications; effective oral 
and written communications. Experience with industry/government/public 
preferred.
