Use of roadkill



In Wisconsin, when a deer is killed in a deer/auto collision (and there are
many), you can get a permit from the DNR and take the carcass to process for
food. This seems to have worked pretty well. The alternative was/is to have a
crew or someone on call who eventually picks up the carcass and buries it
at an
approved site.
