Re: TRI chemical reduction goals -Reply

Two things I always like to point out about such reduction goals 
(which I support):

1. A reduction of REPORTED TRI chemicals does not mean 
less is being used.  11000 pounds of a reported solvent may
become 14000 pounds of two unreported solvents (7000 lbs each).
Even though this is a reduction of 11000 pounds of reported TRI 
chemcials, it is misleading.

2. The best numbers to use are the TRI chemicals released, not
the numbers used to determine threshold amounts.
