Subject: Information request
Might anyone have information about new technologies for public water supply
treatment, on-lot technology, stormwater technology and biosolids
technology? Anything, brochures, demos on CD, research or foundation
information, web sites especially, is ok.
Thank you in advance for what ever information you are able to share.

Jo Anne,
Check with Susan Weaver, she is in your shop(PA DEP), she has a document I
published last year on I/A waste water technologies. You can look at our
centers web site in the publications section regarding technologies we have
reviewed.
There are several Stormwater techs there and we are in the process of
reviewing others.
you can cal if you have specific questions.

JoAnne--
I noticed an EPA Region I newsletter from 1997 focused on stormwater
technologies.

I hope this is useful. I'd be interested in what you come up with.

There is lots of info out on using UV for water treatment, but I think it is
mainly used instead of chlorine in wastewater treatment. You can find more
out on the web. lkh

JoAnne,
The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) has an engineer who
is responsible for investigating new technologies for public water supply
treatment systems. His name is Bryce Feighner and his number is
517-335-9421.
Hope this helps!!!
