RE: Toluene Substitute?

Judy,
I did a search of our web site, found under my name, and came up with one
article that may be useful. Search our P2Infohouse database for toluene and
rubber.

Subject: Toluene Substitute?

Hello,

We're working with a local manufacturer of packaging tape. They use
toluene to dissolve large blocks of rubber which is used as an adhesive on
the tape. Does anyone out there have suggestions for a HAP-free solvent
that dissolves rubber well?

Thanks in advance for any leads or suggestions,

Judy Dorsey
