The University of Georgia has two engineering positions open at its
Athens, Georgia campus.  The university is working in partnership with
Georgia Tech and the Georgia Dept. of Natural Resources Pollution
Prevention Division.  We are going into industrial plants and helping
with P2.  Athens is a great place to live.  Retired persons are welcome

                         FACULTY POSITIONS

The Engineering Outreach Program of the University of Georgia has two 
faculty positions available immediately at the Public Service Representative
level for individuals interested in performing industrial resource 
byproduct recovery, and environmental projects. Requirements:  M.S. Degree in
Agricultural, Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or related
engineering science degree.  Project management and reporting expertise 
Responsibilities:  Meet onsite with engineers and management in Georgia
industries, businesses, and agencies, conduct assessments of needs and
opportunities, and develop and implement plans for technical assistance and
technology transfer.  Water conservation, recycling of water and solid wastes,
enhanced air quality, recovery and value-added processing of byproducts, and
energy conservation are primary areas of emphasis.  These positions offer some
