We are assisting a local airport with regard to the disposal of waste tank contents from aircraft. Glycol, is mixed in a 50/50 solution with water and is used in the Aircraft's waste tank to keep the liquid waste from freezing. Apparently this is a very common additive and is usually seen in aircraft from the northern parts of the country. Any suggestions on how to handle this waste or reduce its impact on the local wastewater treatment plant?
