Fluorescent Pigments & Dyes

I'm working with a company that produces fluorescent pigments and dyes. They use methanol in the process as a Mother Liquor and in the process of washing the press/filter cake. They are interested in trying a different solvent for regulatory and environmental reasons.

Anyone aware of successful methanol substitutions in this type of industry? Industrial Ethanol? Isopropanol? Soy-based Solvents?

Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.

Thank You.
