Re:E2 Incentives - calculating savings

EPA's EnergyStar program has developed algorithms for benchmarking buildings in
various sectors that take into account the energy consumption drivers for the
specific type of building, e.g., for hotels they normalize based on visitor
nights but not employees.
All buildings are normalized for degree days and occupancy. There are technical
papers available on the site that explain how the models work.

Hello,

We're working with an organization that is interested in setting up
internal financial incentives for its Ohio facilities to conserve
energy. The organization is in the recreation/tourism sector. Does anyone
know of any incentive programs that filter out external factors such as
weather and number of visitors in order to set a fair compensation for
conservation?

Thanks in advance for any leads,

Judy Dorsey, PE
