RE: PVC adhesive

Hello Michelle,
I tried looking up alternatives to this adhesive in a database
located in our Residential Construction Topic Hub: the "PVC Alternatives
Database: Construction Products" at
http://www.greenpeace.org.au/pvc/search.php3. I couldn't locate your
product but wonder if you would be able to use alternative piping (non-PVC)
thereby providing you with more adhesive choices. If this is an option,
the above mentioned database can provide ideas on alternative piping for
your circumstances.

Subject: PVC adhesive

I am looking for an enviromentally responsible PVC adhesive to replace a
methylene chloride based adhesive, for industrial PVC pipe.

does anyone have experience with a product called "Gorilla PVC"?

or can you recommend other less-toxic adhesives?

(i have posed this question to the Adhesive and Sealant Council Education
Foundation and Center for Adhesive and Sealant Science).

thanks very much for any leads.
