Re: Converting energy conservation to environmental impacts

This is from the Energy Information Administration's website, (from the
home page, under "environment", then "voluntary greenhouse gas
reporting", then "technical assistance"). Posted there is a chart
entitled: "Fuel Emission Coefficients: Fuel and Energy Source Codes and
Emission Coefficients", (also available as Appendix B to the Long Form
Instructions), which gives CO2 emission factors for the most
commonly-used energy source fuels. You can also contact EIA assistance
from this website.

I have a client that is proposing to do an energy conservation project
as a
Supplemental Environmental Project, for our CTDEP. What I am looking
for, in
order to support his proposal, is a way to show the impacts of kilowatt
hours
saved to environmental benefits, e.g., lbs. of C02 reduced, SO2
reduction,
barrels of oil saved, etc.

Can anyone guide me to such a place that we can use as a reference?
Appreciate
any help you can give us.

Thanks,
