Re: FW: relative costs of P2 vs PC

You may find the final report for the Michigan Source Reduction
Initiative helpful, which provides cost savings and payback data for
most of the 17 P2 projects Dow Chemical, Midland, Michigan facility
implemented under the initiative
http://www.nrdc.org/cities/manufacturing/msri/app2.asp All but one
project met the company's minimum payback requirement (of approximately
17 months).

Subject: relative costs

do you have any general statistics that you use to demonstrate the
relative
cost of prevention vs. cleanup? (numbers to back up an ounce of
prevention
is worth a pound of cure...) Thanks- Sarah
