Re: Airline/Airplane P2

Hi Marlyn,

Hope these resource help...

http://www.epa.gov/ost/guide/airport/index.html
http://www.epa.gov/http://www.epa.gov/compliance/resources/publications/assistance/sectors/notebooks/air.html
As an added note, we assisted our local airport with their waste from the toilets on planes.  The waste was to be discharded down the municipal sewer system, but there was a concern about the additive that keeps the waste from freezing at higher altitudes.  It turns out that the additive may not have even been necessary because our research with other airports revealed that urea in urine is a natural anti-icing agent.  I found that interesting... a natural treatment that already existed in the same environment that was the source of an existing problem.

Happy Holidays!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry about the cross-postings.  We are doing compliance/P2 assistance to the
airline industry and have not had much success finding material.  Has anyone
worked with the airline industry on HW, P2, wastewater, and any other
environmental media?  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in
advance for your assistance.
