Chemical Engineering has quite a few articles on cooling towers in their
archives at http://www.che.com/archives/index.php

Dear collegues

I would appreciate from you ideas about treatment of cooling water and
boiler feed water blowdown for chemical plants and petroleum
refineries.
Ideas can range from source reduction of these blowdowns to select
most suitable point in the wastewater treatment plant to send them.

Thanks

Jose Luis Martinez
