Guide for reuse of CONCRETE AND MASONRY MATERIALS - from australia

Forwarded - FYI - For those who deal with concrete and masonry reuse, this
might be of interest:

GUIDE TO THE REUSE OF CONCRETE AND MASONRY MATERIALS
A guide to encourage the reuse and reduction of construction and
demolition waste, which contributes up to 40% of all waste to landfill
in Australia, is now available. The 'Guide to the Reuse of Concrete and
Masonry Materials' is the first Australian publication to bring together
all the technical and practical information on the use of recycled
concrete and masonry. It was developed by the CSIRO, with funding from
the Federal Government's Natural Heritage Trust, and will help people in
the building and recycling trades to locate all the information they
need about concrete and masonry recycling, and using recycled concrete
and masonry products, from the one reliable source. The handbook sets
out performance, limitations, product testing and evaluation compliance
requirements for reuse of concrete and masonry.
The report is available from the Standards Australia web site at:
