Raul -

You might be interested in in-service vehicle switch replacements for trunk and hood lighting assemblies that contain mercury switches.

the Michigan DEQ just released an informative report on some of the issues and opportunities, and profiles two programs that have implemented this within the auto service industry:  the Northwest Automotive Trades Association (NATA) and New York.

NATA's program has over 100 auto service shops participating in the program in OR,  several in Idaho, and is exploring expanding to other NW states.

Folks: WRPPN is currently updating, adding to, and reformatting its Auto Repair topic hub. If you have any recent P2 material (within the last two years) concerned with the auto repair industry and would like to have it posted on the auto repair topic hub, please send or e-mail the information to raulg@unr.edu. Thank you.
