Re: studies on Job market in the environmental field in theUSA and Asia

Hi there,
I know from the 'on the ground' information that here in New Zealand
there is a dire shortage of real environmental engineers (not those who
did a civil degree with a bit of environmental fluff) and our students
are getting jobs even before they are graduating, such is the need. Our
graduates even go overseas for the big 'overseas experience' to
Australia, Canada and the UK and they are being snapped up by industry.

Meanwhile environmental engineering degrees that rely on civil plus a
little environmental fluff because it was 'sexy' are closing in NZ,
Australia and the UK.
Hope this 'on the ground' experience helps.
Regards

Jeff

Dear colleague

I am doing a study on international job market for environmental
technicians
and specialists to determine the size of the market and potential
future
jobs for environmental technicians and specialists. I would like to
know if
you are aware of any studies published in this area or to refer me to
existing resources relating to this topic in the USA or Asia.

Thank you for your help.

Regards.

Subject: spray booth Dry filter media to neutralize voc odors, not
mask

Does anyone have information on vendors that provide dry filters for
paint spray booths that neutralize voc odors, not mask them...I have
heard of carbon filters, but cannot find a supplier for this
application?
