Part-time Job opening in Nebraska

Sorry for cross-postings.  This position is part-time, working for a very
successful student intern program from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

        Partners in Pollution (P3) Program Environmental Specialist
                    UNL Biological Systems Engineering
                       Part-time Temporary Position

Assist in providing environmental/technical assistance to Nebraska
businesses.   Perform applied research, write technical assistance reports,
assist with waste assessments, and supervise/train student interns.

The Environmental Specialist will assist the P3 faculty and Program
Coordinator in providing technical assistance to Nebraska businesses using
undergraduate student interns.  The Partners in Pollution Prevention
program has completed its ninth year.  The P3 web site is at:

BS or MS in a scientific or engineering field required.  Ability to perform
applied research concerning new methods of industrial waste minimization,
and excellent business communication skills essential.  Hours  flexible.
13 - 20 hours per week, temporary up to two years.  Pay rate is between
$13.50 and 17.00/hr depending upon qualifications and experience.  Position
is grant funded.  Excellent benefits. Some travel required.

Excellent opportunity to work part-time while earning an graduate degree.
After obtaining experience through this program, the candidate will be well
placed to obtain leadership positions in governmental agencies, not for
profit organizations, Universities, and industry related to pollution
